Rustins Quick Dry Black Gloss

Rustins Quick Dry Black Gloss Paint is a high quality, hard-wearing acrylic emulsion based paint.

It is designed as a decorative coating for application over Rustins Quick Drying Primer Undercoat, or over existing paints and varnishes, on wood and metal surfaces. The finish produced is tough, durable and resistant to oil and water.

This black gloss paint is suitable for interior and exterior use. It is perfect for painting doors, window frames, furniture and it even conforms to the Toys (Safety) Regulations 1995, BS:EN71 Part 3.

This formula is water-based paint, low odour and fast drying. It is touch dry in just 30 minutes.

Before application, the surface must be clean, smooth, sound, dry and free from wax, dust and contaminants. If the wood or metal surface is bare, apply the appropriate primer and undercoat before painting. (See technical details for more information).

Apply light, even coats using a good quality brush for water-based coatings. One coat is usually sufficient but a second coat may be applied if required. It is better to apply two light coats rather than one heavy coat.

Coverage is approx 12-15 sq.metres per litre depending on the absorbency of the surface.
